Red Dog Deli is growing North Vancouver based company that manufactures premium raw food for dogs and cats. Our company goal is to produce a premium quality food for our animal companions, and help improve their lives through better diet and education.
We are looking for hard-working, motivated and energetic individual to join and grow with our team. We currently have an opening for a Production Room Cleaner / Janitor. Responsibilities would include cleaning the production equipment and room at the end of each day, laundry, cleaning the offices and general area 2 times per week, some general warehouse cleaning and occationally working on a production line.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and interest: – Some experience with meat processing or other heavy machinery an asset – Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs on a continual basis – Good communication and math skills – Ability to work with a team and independently – Ability to work in cold environment – Good hand-eye coordination – Attention to quality and details – Passion for health, animals and quality work! – Ability to work with meat products, handle strong odours and not be afraid to get a bit dirty – Forklift certificate and valid driver’s license an asset
Position start date June 27, 2011. Monday – Friday noon am – 5:30 pm for cleaning (and some hours for production)
