The Job:

The Advancement Team at Power to Change (comprised of the Marketing & Communications, Development and Partner Relations Departments) is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to support the management team and help us execute exceptional marketing, fundraising and donor care.

As a vital member of the Advancement Team your role will include:
• Acting as the first point of contact for anyone contacting the Advancement Team including major donors, senior management, field staff and ministry directors.
• Executive assistance to the Chief Development Officer including scheduling, finances, communications and overall administration.
• Supporting Development Reps with relevant materials and donor information.
• Supporting the Advancement management team in budgeting, general administration, creating archives, hiring staff and general organization.
• Working with the Marketing and Development departments to organize donor events, fundraising appointments and trips.
• Managing relationships with suppliers and coordinating the calendar of events and promotional materials.
• Being a contributing member of the Advancement Team, coming up with new ideas and processes to help achieve the annual objectives and strategies.

The Fine Details:
This is a key position and often the “face” of the Advancement Team to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll need:

• At least 3 years experience successfully supporting a fast-paced team or senior level management.
• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills (you’ll need to be comfortable communicating with people at all levels of management)
• Excellent computer skills (be prepared to merge, manage Outlook Calendars, prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets)
• To be a motivated team player, looking for opportunities to make a maximum contribution.
• A personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
