Goldtooth Creative Agency, Inc, a full service digital production studio and creative agency, is now accepting submissions for the following position:
Senior Motion Graphics Artist & Illustrator
Candidates must have prior production experience and also possess strong skills in communication, organization, and follow through, with an attention to detail and commitment to deliver their highest quality work possible.
Relevant experience must include:
• Diploma or degree from reputable visual arts educational program, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of three to four years experience working as a professional motion graphics and illustration artist, creating visuals for film, television, and video game content
• Experience working on multiple (preferably high profile) broadcast, film or video game projects, with a demo reel detailing individual contributions
• A strong proficiency with the full Adobe suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Flash) and other industry-standard tools, an in-depth knowledge of graphic design and illustration techniques, and demonstration of creative approaches to solve various visual development challenges are requisite to the position
Job duties include:
• Perform motion graphics and illustration duties as needed on the productions; follow and complete tasks as requested by Motion Graphics Supervisors
• Utilize Adobe Suite and an in-depth graphic arts knowledge to creatively solve design challenges per project specifications from clients and Directors
• Submit daily iterations for review and meet production show deadlines as required by Production Management and project schedule
• Communicate with Department Supervisors, Producers, Coordinators and other Leads to resolve production challenges, and multitask effectively to keep up with production deadlines
• Troubleshoot motion graphics and illustration technical challenges as needed, and communicate effective resolutions to the team to keep all productions on track.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working atmosphere focused on team and project success. Lead by example and promote good team morale by acting with integrity, being a strong communicator, and solving problems proactively.
• Follow and maintain a clean and organized directory structure as outlined by internal workflow standards. Follow Goldtooth’s stages of production standards for all workflow elements.
• Attend and actively participate in reviews such as Dailies or Creative Director reviews as needed to maintain visual quality and consistency in the show.
