Procreation Design Works is looking someone to join our event team:
Technical Production Associate and Supervisor Technical Team
If you possess:
• Experience working with an audio visual technical firm
• Event management or conference production competence
• Proven track record and a minimum of 2 years business experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication aptitude
• Significant computer knowledge
• People management and leadership acumen
AND if you are:
• Highly organized, a team player, creative, and self motivated
• Possess knowledge of Vectorworks, CAD (Excel and Photoshop a plus)

Major responsibilities - Working for the Director of Operations, you will assist coordination of:
Vendor production of stage design
Pre production crew scheduling
Budget management
Onsite crew management
Vendor manage/Install Strike schedule development
Blocking of props for stage
Satellite and broadcast vendor acquisition
Labor relations
Lighting vendor supervision
Management of necessary equipment for event needs
RFP for AV vendor for each conference
In addition, you will supervise 1-2 technical team members
The working environment is fast paced. Applicants must possess high energy and work well under deadlines. Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects a must. Flexibility, willingness to shoulder responsibility, highly developed organizational skill, positive attitude, sense of humor, ability to take constructive feedback, are all desirable personality traits.
