Position: Senior Technical Services Consultant
Mission: To operate a profitable Technical Services Division that provides exceptional customer service to consumer and business customers.
We are searching for a Full Time individual, who is Available for long term employment with desire to grow within our Organization. Have good troubleshooting skills, someone who is Courteous and has friendly personality, Comfortable with new people and environments, Independent, but can work well in a team. We are looking for a team player that wants to advance.
You will be expected to use effective people, communication and negotiation skills to help the Technical Services Division realize all of its goals.
Areas of Responsibility:
In this position, you will be responsible for overall management of customers’ Technical requirements.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Positively contributing to the achievement of the overall annual and long-term goals prescribed for the organization
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction
• Demonstrate innovating new and profitable revenue opportunities, building business plans for these new products and services, presenting proposals to Senior Management Team, and implementing the plans upon approval.
• Ensuring technical services is capable and ready to deliver new services at the forecasted volume and service level before product launch.
Duties:
The duties of this role include but are not exclusive to the following:
You must have experience in a Microsoft environment, MS DOS, Windows XP, and Server 2003/Server 2008. Experience installing/upgrading operating systems Along with Basic hardware knowledge including knowledge of components.
Small Business Server and Exchange server Experience is also required. MCSE Certification along with experience in Cisco and Sonicwall products preferred.
Microsoft architecture such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Exchange, Windows Server, Terminal Server, SharePoint
Blackberry Enterprise Server implementation and Support
Proficient in end use applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, Access, power point, be able to learn new applications as required.
You must have a high technical aptitude, valid BC Drivers License with good drivers abstract, and be flexible to work extended days and weekends. You must have experience in writing proposals and researching hardware requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional technical service to our core customers
• Implement in-house systems
• Are required to Travel the lower Mainland area. Areas of travel can change dependant on future customer base
• Test and implement new systems for customers
• Assist customers with all Technical requirements
• Taking initiative to find new ways to improve the performance of technical services;
• Picking up and delivering equipment from Suppliers to Vendors
• Perform all duties in a timely manner
• Assisting sales personnel in the sales of services to Corporate clients as requested;
• Resolving customer complaints to the satisfaction of the customer
• Analysis and improve Technical Services Division’s processes and procedures to make the organization more effective and customer friendly
We offer a Company Car, salary range between 40k – 50K depending on experience.
