new design and art driven studio + collective in Vancouver accepting applications:

our goal: a collective of amazing talent across a variety of design and arts-related disciplines all working under one roof. Each member of the collective will be responsible for running their own respective creative businesses and will have the opportunity to collaborate with other collective members on different projects as they arise.

the benefit to you: we are trying to offer talented people the best of both worlds – the ability to continue run/grow your own creative business AND the ability to work in a creative, inspiring, casual environment with like-minded people. you still set your own hours, choose how to fill your day… you don’t have to attending any meetings or do anything else they make you do when you work for someone else. PLUS, the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas may lead to some new projects for your already established business.

why are we doing this:
ever sit alone in your home or small office talking to yourself? yeah, we’ve been there too – so we’re trying to change that. we want to share inspiration and collaborate to produce amazing work and attract the best clients. we want collective partners come together to solve larger design problems with their diverse experience and create unique creative solutions.
basically… – we want an environment that allows us to learn, collaborate and share ideas – we want to do interesting, culturally-driven and relevant work – we want to be part of something bigger than our own independent businesses (we hope you do too)

what else…
we are still talking about lots of exciting ideas to bring the collective and physical space, if you are a candidate for membership, we will be sure to share what else is on the horizon. Oh – and if you have ANY ideas, tell us! the idea is that we are a collective that all can contribute… we want you to work ‘with us’, not ‘for us’.

*note: there are only limited spaces available as we are looking for a core group to start the collective and will grow from there – each application will be reviewed and only qualified applicants will be contacted with more information. sorry, we don’t have time to respond to all inquiries.
