Flash Motions Designer/Developer (Gastown)

Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and communicative Flash Motions Designer/Developer with Rich Media experience to join our energetic, fun, and motivated team. Candidate can join on a consistently committed freelance basis or in a full-time capacity.
We are looking for candidate who works well within a feedback-oriented team environment with a positive attitude; dedication and willingness to work hard often under high production pressure. Must have love for sports.
This is an in-house position, located in Gastown.
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing Flash banners, animated Flash banners, video banners, full-fledged video ads, and on-site video placements. Create storyboards and templates.
The Designer will be focused on bringing interactive experiences and advertising initiatives to life.
The Designer should have the ability to interpret verbal direction into visual beauty and adapt to different design styles while adhering to various brand guidelines and to translate creative concepts into Flash/Rich Media/Video projects. The Designer should be able to generate multiple distinct compositions while working within project schedules.
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of interactive advertising agency (or equivalent) Flash design experience. Entertainment or sport industry experience required.
Proficient in Adobe Flash, ActionScript2, ActionScript3, Photoshop. Ability to manage dynamic data (XML) in Flash, experience in JavaScript. Experience working with in-banner video. Ability to excel in a fast paced, 'out of the box' environment with frequent deadlines.
