Electronic Records Coordinator

Burnaby (Metro Vancouver), BC

Joining our Business Support Services Department and under the leadership of the Manager - Records & Information Privacy, you will work as part of a team with IT with respect to the implementation of the records management portion of an Enterprise Content Management system.

In addition to coordinating the quality assurance, testing and acceptance of the ERM application, you will, in conjunction with IT, develop policies/procedures for use of the system as well as support its implementation and promote its use across the organization. You will also manage its daily operation and security, and provide database administrative support from the records management perspective.
Your solid working experience in records management positions (preferably with recent experience in implementing ERM systems within the public sector) is backed by a diploma in Business Management that includes courses in ERM and, ideally, formal training in records management. Equivalencies will be considered. As such, you should have a sound knowledge of the principles, practices, statutory requirements and government policy relating to records management..

You possess experience at a supervisory level and are able to assign/monitor the work of staff as well as provide direction in the resolution of work-related issues. Effective communication, consensus building and interpersonal skills are expected, likewise well-developed analytical and organizational capabilities.
