P/T Cashiers & Produce Stockpersons (Marine Way)

Kin’s Farm Market is expanding and we constantly need committed people to join our company. The Marine Way location currently has openings for Part-time Cashiers and Stockpersons. We offer good benefits & training.
CASHIER
Responsibilities
1. Receive payment, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and promote products to customers;
2. Answer customers' questions and provide information on product, procedures or policies;
3. Calculate total payments received at the end of work shift and reconcile with total sales in order to
maintain the accuracy of cash flow;
4. Balance the till at the end of the shift and make the daily deposit;
5. May also stock shelves according to the management’s instructions;
6. Clean up cash counter area and perform simple housekeeping work;
7. Perform miscellaneous duties such as packing produce, etc. assigned by the store management;
8. Follow team leader’s instructions on work assignments during the scheduled work shift;
Qualifications
Some secondary school education;
Good communication skills;
Reliable, hard working & willing to learn
Requirements: Honest, reliable, hard working, good communication skills, good memory & willing to learn.

PRODUCE STOCKPERSONS
Ideal applicants should possess the following qualifications:
1. Reliable, hard working, motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
2. Honest and customer service oriented
3. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, learn the basics and get things done, some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and hands on dealing with produce is required
4. Be flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and evening hours
5. Able to communicate in English, ability to speak a foreign language will be an asset
Requirements: Honest, reliable, hard working, good communication skills & willing to learn.
