Graphic Designer – Entry Level Position
Christopher Stewart Wine & Spirits, Inc. is a leading importer and distributor of fine wines from around the world. As a result of our rapid growth we are searching for an individual interested in a long-term career that is challenging and rewarding.
We are seeking a creative, driven, results-oriented individual with a sharp eye for detail to fill a full-time entry-level Graphic Designer position. The qualified candidate will possess the ability to follow direction and original concept designs with ease and be able to meet timelines and quality expectations for each project. Design responsibilities will include but are not limited to: in-house desktop publishing, animation, POP material, website graphic and icon design, HTML email campaigns and product portfolio and brochure concepts.
Applicants must be detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be comfortable with distractions and an open door policy. The successful candidate will have strong typography and print production skills, a solid design portfolio demonstrating interactive work and advertising design knowledge and/or experience and be proficient in: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Flash. Additional graphic web design program knowledge is a plus. A post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related area is required; professional photography experience/knowledge is a definite asset.
