Are you confident in your day to day accounting abilities and looking for a job that has other aspects as well? Growing producer, wholesaler and distributor of wild and sustainable seafood requires an operations assistant for their fast-paced head office to provide accounting & administrative support for sales & management. Duties include day-to-day accounting (A/R & A/P, payroll & government remittances), order processing, inventory control, customer service and general office duties. The successful candidate will be an accurate and organized team player with strong computer, communications and telephone skills. You will work closely with the Sales & Brand Manager in all areas of the business and will be comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently. Interest in sustainability issues and experience with local & US shipping definitely an asset. This position is suitable for candidates in the 3rd year of a recognized accounting program, with 2-3 years solid experience. Full-time position. Starts immediately.
