Office Coordinator (Vancouver / Burnaby border)

Artiss Aminco ULC is the Official and Exclusive Lapel Pin Licensee to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. With less than six months to go to the Opening Ceremony, interest in our range of exclusive products is growing rapidly and we need to expand our Vancouver operations team.
Lapel pins are synonymous with the Games and are the Number One souvenir, representing between 15% and 20% of all licensed product sold. We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, energetic, and focused individual to join our team.
POSITION
Office Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting with project management and executing various tasks related with clients’ orders
• Maintaining and updating databases, contact information and filing systems
• Verifying customer orders and assisting with order processing
• First point of contact for general outside enquiries
• Providing administrative support with invoicing, in inventory management, and related operational functions
• Assisting in other duties as required
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Administrative Assistant Certificate or other related formal education, plus minimum of 2 years related experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office as well as contact management systems such as Maximizer CRM
• Exceptional time and project management skills
• Ability to set and achieve goals
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high volume environment with continually-changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
• Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external “customers”
• Fluency in English is required
NOTE: since Artiss Aminco is a licensee with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games, this is a term employment position focused on Olympic product so it has a termination date of no later than the end of March 2010.
