PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST / WEIGHMASTER - RECYCLING INDUSTRY
A well-established international scrap recycling company, seeks a highly motivated self starter to fill the position of Part-Time Receptionist / Weighmaster for an international scrap recycling company.
The successful candidate must have the following skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Must have strong communication skills with excellent telephone manners and interpersonal skills
• Computer Literate, able to use data bases and MS Office programs
• Be a self-starter team player with a mature personality, be able to multi-task
• Good calculating skills and the ability to make quick decisions
• Strong administrative skills
• Physically able to climb up and down from trucks to instruct drivers.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Support of the Weighmaster
• Reception of incoming telephone calls
• Support of local operations and team members
• Cover the scale and front desk while the Weighmaster is away and to close
• Logistical support – liaison to shipping lines working with freight bills and payments
• Any other tasks as they develop
This position is located in the City of Vancouver in the “Main and Marine” area of South Vancouver.
This is a part time afternoon position, ideal for a retired person. Opportunities for hours will increase during other staff vacation times.
