Controller – Manufacturing (Vancouver)

Controller –Manufacturing-Vancouver - $90,000 to $120,000
Position Overview
Reporting to the President, the individual will be an integral member of the financial management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all day to day corporate accounting functions, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, analysis of costs, year-end schedules and working papers, monitors accounts payable and supervision of a team of 5. The position will focus on process, procedure and financial reporting.
The responsibilities include:
• Leading the short and long-term organizational goals and reporting process
• Ensuring that proper controls, financial processes and methodologies are in place
• Monitoring and holding the division’s performance against planned budgets
• Reviewing financial performance of the division and recommending corrective actions where necessary
• Working with the Finance team to manage and deliver timely audits and accounts
• Reporting to the President on the financial performance of the division on a monthly basis
• Ensuring that the President has all financial information required
Requirements
• 2 or more years experience in a Controller role in a Manufacturing company
• Accounting Designation (CA/CGA/CMA)
• Experience with an ERP system
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Excellent Communications skills, both Oral and Written
• Team Player
• Detail Oriented, Methodical, Diligent and Organized
Compensation
Our client offers a very competitive compensation package including company paid benefits and bonus plans.
Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 plus benefits
