Do you have an undergraduate degree in translation with 3-5 years experience in English to French Translation? Are you seeking an opportunity that will utilize your skills while providing new opportunities?
Our client in Vancouver is seeking an English to French Translator to join their team for a one-year maternity leave contract (with the possibility of joining permanently). Some of the responsibilities include:
- Translating technical documents from English to French
- Proof reading translated text to catch writing mistakes, typos, formatting errors, etc.
- Conducting research to ensure that correct terminology is used
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Translation
- 3-5 years translating experience, preferably in an accounting-related environment
- Being an associate or student of a professional translators’ association
- Experience using computer-assisted translations tools such as Multitrans
