Established CGA firm in Penticton is seeking a designated Senior Accountant.

A permanent full time position leading to a partnership for the right person.

The successful candidate should have experience in the following:

• Personal and corporate tax filing
• Payroll and bookkeeping utilizing Quick Books
• A good working knowledge of Word & Excel.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax and other Government statutes and laws as they pertain to the accounting profession

• Experience working in a public practice

Although CGA designation is required, if you are a 4th or 5th year student with solid experience in Public practice and a desire to become a partner in the future you will be considered.

The company is a well-established small Public Practice firm. Although this is a senior accounting position you should be willing to do some bookkeeping, as many of the clients are proprietors needing assistance in the area. Having some consulting background to small business including the farming industry would be an asset.

We are looking for a long-term dedicated individual that enjoys the challenges of Public Practice, enjoys working with people and would value a partnership opportunity. With a solid base of business you will be busy and have the opportunity to expand the business should you want to take a management role. Compensation is negotiable based upon experience
