In-house Accountant - Pub / Liquor Store (Tri-Cities)
at Human Resources in Vancouver
We require an EXPERIENCED team player to assume the day to day accounting duties of our busy neighborhood pub / liquor store operation. We have an upbeat team, a solid customer base, a very busy store, and a drive to be busier.
YOU MUST HAVE RELEVANT PUB AND LIQUOR STORE, OR LICENSED RESTAURANT / BAR / NIGHTCLUB EXPERIENCE! If you do not, please stop reading now, and do not waste your time or ours, by sending a meaningless resume. We will not respond to any applications which do not have direct experience in a hospitality industry setting, including management of point of sale and inventory systems.
Now that we have that out of the way.....
You'll be a team oriented, hands on, experienced bookkeeper/accountant. Responsibilities include the full accounting cycle, and all associated payroll and inventory control duties. You will have an assistant who is capable of running the day to day inventory and cash functions.
You need not have a professional designation. In fact, such experience would probably be overkill, unless you're a retiree looking to keep your hand in. You'll need relevant experience, a well documented work history, a strong work ethic, a thick skin, and a good sense of humour, all in order to get through each day and maintain your sanity. If you're an early riser, even better!
Please submit a detailed resume, including references, to pub_accountant@live.ca, as soon as possible. We will not respond to incomplete or irrelevant applications.
If you're the right person, you can start right now!
