We are looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates to join the Purdy's team at many Vancouver-area locations. The Sales Associate produces sales and profits by achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer obsessed service. Successfully operates a store in the absence of management and consistently maintains a “team-centered” atmosphere.
Qualifications:
• Customer Obsessed and dedicated to providing a great customer experience.
• Passionate about chocolate and enthusiastic about selling a quality product.
• Excited about working as a productive team member.
• Thinks creatively and often "outside the chocolate box."
• Energetic and enjoys meeting and new people.
• Related retail experience is preferred, but not necessary as we offer training.
• Availability to work all mall hours, including days year-round.
Duties:
• Provides excellent customer and sales service by consistently demonstrating Purdy’s Customer Obsessed Service Standards.
• Meets and exceeds sales goals by utilizing individual and team selling techniques.
• Demonstrates great product knowledge and the ability to use this knowledge as a selling tool.
• Promotes Purdy’s Special Service options.
• Orders and receives product and supplies in relation to store needs.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of product life cycle.
• Merchandises the store according to the Visual Merchandising standards.
• Accurately and efficiently completes POS terminal transactions, staff schedules, and other record keeping procedures.
• Protects store inventory by providing excellent customer service and adhering to loss prevention procedures.
• Supports and acts on company directives in a timely fashion and promotes a positive company image to all staff and the general public.
• Works closely and cooperatively with the Store Management to offer feedback and suggestions to support store goals.
