Warehouse Lead (Delta)

Helly Hansen, a leading manufacturer of high-performance wintersports and outdoor clothing, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for our Delta, BC (North American headquarters) location. For more information about Helly Hansen, please see our web site: www.hellyhansen.com.
This position reports to the Distribution Manager and is responsible for running the day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor. As the second-in-charge, the Warehouse Lead will also fill in for the Distribution Manager occasionally as needed.
Specific duties will include:
• Overseeing the daily work of warehouse staff (five to ten workers)
• Assisting in the implementation of safety policies and procedures
The selected candidate will have:
• At least 3-5 years of warehouse lead experience
• Strong supervisory skills, including excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs
• The ability to lift up to 15 kg
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, value added services, quality assurance, warranty, and returns processes as related to the apparel industry is preferred
• Narrow-aisle forklift experience is preferred
