Communications Coordinator
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator will contribute to the ongoing success of our Franchise Partners and corporate staff by supporting the clear and timely flow of information across our organization. Acting as a communications advocate, this role will be key in maintaining company standards with regards to the transfer and flow of information.
Responsibilities
• Providing communications support for the rollout of and updates to diverse franchise-facing programs and initiatives
• Developing communications approaches and tactics for a range of business areas, including marketing, commercial sales, and fleet
• Writing, editing, and distributing communications for corporate staff
o Coordinating communications related to our daily staff meeting
o Corporate events and news
• Researching, writing and editing for our Franchise Partners
o Monthly Newsletters
o Creating and publishing regular online postings
o Distributing a weekly e-news bulletin
• Assisting with the organization and execution of forums and web-conferences, including the development of presentation materials
Personal Attributes
• Exceptional writing and editing skills are required to achieve success in this role
o Portfolio required of writing review
o Detail oriented
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, English or a related field
• 1 – 3 years of experience in fast-paced corporate or internal communications settings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Online authoring experience
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong team player with the ability to successfully build relationships and gain trust
o Superior interpersonal and listening skills
