HCL Social Care Canada is currently looking for three Social Workers to work in the UK. Details below:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the assessment, commissioning, intervention and review of services for a specific client group. Responsible for assisting people to resolve major difficulties in their lives and enhance their independence, in partnership with other agencies and professionals.
PROFILE:
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
• Understanding of Child Protection procedures
• Skills in assessment and analysis of risk
• Ability to record events accurately and write clear, concise reports
• Ability to communicate effectively and creatively with users
• Non-judgmental attitude
• Ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively
• Able to work effectively with people at all levels within the organisation and from other agencies/disciplines
• Commitment to the principles of partnership and of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
• Commitment to using relevant information technology systems
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours as necessary
Education /Training:
• Must be a registered/qualified social worker.
• Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Social Work from accredited university
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in a social work environment
• Good communication skills
