Technical Support – Immediate Position (Richmond)

RMD, APTUS Systems is a Point of Sales solution provider specializing in retailers and wholesalers. We are looking for a person with technical background for the technical support team.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing and trouble-shooting POS systems onsite
- Diagnosing and trouble-shooting software and hardware issues
- Responsible for providing telephone and remote technical support to existing customers and promoting various products and services
- Answering phones in a prompt, polite and friendly manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in technical support
- The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- Familiar with desktop and laptop hardware
- Good working knowledge of operating systems
- Good working knowledge of computer network and Internet connectivity
- Ability to multi-task, hardworking and independent
- Technical aptitude and resourceful nature
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications both written and oral
- Strong English communication skills, Cantonese or Mandarin are an asset
Position is hourly based. This industry is very competitive and a fast paced industry.
