Broadcast Technician / Installation Technician (Vancouver)

-Job Description:
-Planning and layout for rack harnessing and cable management
-High density equipment harnessing in racks or consoles
-using wirelists, synoptics and technical documentation
-Document control and Management
-Rack and equipment preparation, Cable fabrication and repair
-Training and quality control of level 1 installers.
-Preparation for shipment
-Required skills:
-Ability to use system synoptics, wirelists and technical documentation
-Ability to perform assignments within SID standards and QC guidelines
-Ability to handle heavy items such as cable bundles and equipment
-Organized, accurate, attentive to details and work with minimum supervision
-Packing and shipping experience preferred
-Basic electrical and electronics
-using system synoptics, wirelists and technical documentation
The ideal candidate would need to have some previous experience in the broadcasting field (Junior, Intermediate and Senior positions available).
