Qtrade Financial Group is a rapidly growing brokerage and wealth management firm with a Technical Support Representative position available, based in Qtrade’s corporate head office, in downtown Vancouver.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up and maintaining the various facets of financial advisor access for wealth management systems (Dataphile/Univeris), new staff setups (Exchange/ActiveDirectory/PCs/Phones), general help desk support as well as providing client technical support to Qtrade Investor’s online customers.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have the ability to strategically multi-task and respond effectively to clients and staff in a fast paced, dynamic technical environment. Candidates should be able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with limited information over the phone and in person. Financial services and call center experience, while not mandatory, will be considered strong assets.
Required Skills / Knowledge:
• Microsoft Office 2003 Proficiency
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
• Automated Monitoring & Alert Notification (Server, CPU, Disk Usage)
• Backup Solutions / Strategies
• Anti Virus / Spam Solutions
• Excellent Network, Software & Hardware Troubleshooting Skills
• Superb Customer Service & Communication Skills
