Account Manager for Construction Industrial Distribution Channel

Germany Based Power Tools Distribution Company is hiring an Account Manager for Construction Industrial Distribution Channel in Western Canada based out of Vancouver. This position offers a competitive package and excellent career opportunities for an ambitious, geographically mobile sales professional (Travel 60% of time outside Vancouver).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Through visits to current and prospective customers expand business in order to meet targeted sales budgets
• Promote products and services to customers through making products presentations and training
• Build and maintain strong customer relations both at the end-user and distribution level through providing an excellent level of customer service
• Communicate regularly with head office staff in order to resolve customer issues
• Maintain a high level of relevant product knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• University Degree or College Diploma preferred.
• Superior business development skills with the ability to deal with challenging customer situations in a positive, professional way.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong achievement motivation and demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Willingness to travel, with valid driver's license/passport and reliable vehicle.
• Good salesmanship ability. Application construction oriented, not afraid to do cold calls.
