VINTAGE CLOTHING STORE MANAGER FULL TIME (F as in FRANK/ Main + Broadway)
at Human Resources in Vancouver
Full time (40-50 hour per week) retail management position coming up to start around the 2nd week of August. We are a really fun crew, and the vintage store is very large with a high number of staff to manage. We have very high turnover of stock, and no item stays on the floor for more than 3 months... unless it is part of our large selection of high end/collectible vintage items. The person in charge will be communicating with the owners of the store on a daily basis; scheduling; sales reports; payroll and preparation of the monthly expenses and invoices for the book keeper; merchandising and displays; communicating with wholesalers and eventually placing orders; picking vintage; stock management and control; and staff management including taking or arranging customer service trainings and staff meetings.

- Live in Vancouver and is looking to commit to a 1-2 year contract
- Retail clothing management minimum 2 years
- Vintage clothing store experience
- LOVE vintage clothing and express it in personal style
- Customer service training in previous employment
- 21+ years old (we would prefer mid to late twenties or more though!)
- Merchandising skills/good level of style and creativity
- Great personal style and fashion sense
- Can work well with excel, word, and any design programs.
- Can type well, use computers competently
- Great communication skills
- Use initiative, learn quickly, work efficiently and self motivated
Anything else you can bring to the table... bring it! We are looking for someone with whom we can communicate with really well, and just generally a really fun outgoing and productive person.
