Due to the expansion of our healthcare programs Sprott-Shaw Commmunity College is currently seeking professionals for the following position:
Practical Nursing Instructors - REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
All candidates must have a current nursing designation and a minimum two years of experience (provincial regulation).
Practical Nursing is fast becoming one of the most necessary careers in the province of BC. The competencies required for a Practical Nurse are validated by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPN) and are an integral part of the curriculum and practicums. Throughout this three-semester diploma program, students learn the full range of competencies in pharmacology and medication administration. The program also includes three practicums, one at the end of each semester. Finally, a five-week Preceptorship follows the successful completion of all semesters.
Sprott-Shaw Community College is one of BC's oldest private training institutions - since 1903.
The modern campuses of Sprott-Shaw now trains over 4500 students each year. All locations feature small class sizes, qualified instructors, hands-on training and a friendly, appropriate learning environment for adults of all ages. During the past century, Sprott-Shaw Community College has built a solid reputation with both the private sector and government.
