Legal Admin Asst - Patents - National Firm (Vancouver)

Our client, a large law firm located in DOWNTOWN, is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work in the area of Intellectual Property and Trademarks Law.
Candidates applying must have a minimum of 3 years' general corporate experience with a strong interest in Intellectual Property and Trademarks Law. Please note that this position is highly administrative in nature and a very busy spot. Candidates applying must possess organization and multi-tasking skills.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Graduate of a legal administrative assistant program from a recognized school;
- ability to manage all administrative functions of the practices including calendar, travel arrangements, bring-forwards, general file management, and other duties as may be required;
- capacity to deal with a high-level of paper flow and multiple files;
- ability to work independently, juggle demands and properly judge priorities;
- Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook are required;
- Attention to detail with high quality standards is essential;
- Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills;
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Good oral and written communication;
