Excellent Opportunity - ALF Expert (Downtown Vancouver)

Leitch Systems Design Inc., the developer of ALF Corporate, Western Canada's leading corporate records management software, is looking for a personable, bright, and adaptable person for a maternity leave coverage position to assist on our help desk, and with training and documentation. The successful candidate must have the following background:
» minimum 2 years of legal corporate records experience with an intermediate level understanding of BC (and ideally Federal) corporate law;
» familiarity with ALF Corporate software to an intermediate level (advanced training of Administrative functions will be provided, though knowledge and experience in this area would be an asset);
» proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook;
» ability to work unsupervised and prioritize incoming work;
» strong communication and organizational skills.
The responsibilities of the position include:
» responding to user support telephone calls and emails;
» updating our help forum with program information and changes;
» eventually providing ALF training to existing and new ALF users;
» supplying information to and performing demonstrations of ALF products to potential clients;
» testing and documenting program enhancements and fixes prior to release;
» troubleshooting and scripting document precedents for use in ALF;
» miscellaneous office duties such as filing, mailing and basic accounting.
Some travel of up to 2 days at a time will be required on occasion. Compensation will be competitive, and commensurate with experience. Interested candidates should email resume to jacqueline@alfcentral.com with the subject line “ALF Position”.
