TaiwanFest is a non-profit organization located in Vancouver, BC dedicated to promoting Taiwanese Arts and Culture. Throughout the years, we have brought the residents of Vancouver dynamic stage shows and exquisite craft exhibitions. (http://taiwanfest.ca)
This internship position is a great opportunity for you to join us for 2009’s TELUS TAIWANfest.
Task will vary based on skills and can range from adding/updating content, designing pages and graphics, or developing/theming in a Drupal environment.
Qualification include but not limited to:
- An affinity for XHTML, CSS, Web Standards, and PHP
- A desire to create and maintain web pages
- Familiar with Photoshop, Flash, and/or Actionscript
- Understanding of page optimization, user interface, and cross-platform issues
