-Refurbishment of a D class industrial property into a B+ industrial/office use
THE CANDIDATE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Coordinator position is based out of our MacPherson Walk project site in South Burnaby (2 blocks from Royal Oak skytrain station). The opportunity exists for this individual to get great exposure into the real estate industry and build a potential longer term relationship with a dynamic, growing, reputable real estate group.
Applicants for this position will be self- motivated individuals with a high degree of initiative. The candidate will work in a team setting and will be interacting regularly with the entire Sales & Marketing team at Hungerford Group, including reporting directly to the Partners. The candidate selected for this position will possess strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, and possess critical thinking and organizational skills.
The Sales Coordinator will be active in the following primary responsibilities:
SALES SUPPORT
-Assisting the Sales Manager to sell pre-sale homes that are ready to move in this Fall 2009 and next Spring 2010
-Greeting and registering all visitors to the MacPherson Walk Display Home
-Answer sales calls, checking messages, respond to incoming email inquiries, qualify & follow up with prospects, book sales appointments and organize open house tours
-Responsible for managing all sales contracts and legal documents
-Handling upgrade paperwork for existing purchasers who wish to buy extra parking stalls or extra bike lockers
-Handling existing purchaser inquiries and directing them to Customer Service when necessary
-Perform sales tours of the Common Area Amenities
-Use Lasso database for creating new visitor profiles, updating registrant information, and contract management
DISPLAY SUITE MAINTENANCE:
-Opening, maintaining, and locking up the Townhouse Display Home
-Keeping the Townhouse Display Home and Common Area clean and tidy
-Printing and photocopying marketing handouts & sales collateral when needed
Additional responsibilities and duties will likely be required with the MacPherson Walk project and other projects.
QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS
-2+ years of experience in sales coordination of selling pre-sale homes & contract management
-Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
-Familiarity with real estate databases (Lasso)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work effectively in a team setting are key components of this position
-Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Ability to coordinate several simultaneous tasks while maintaining a positive and flexible work style
Self-motivated and possesses a high level of professionalism
HOURS OF WORK
The sales Coordinator will be required to prepare the Display Home at 11:30 AM for public viewing between 12 PM and 4PM every Saturday and Sunday in July and August, and then possibly increasing to full time starting in September.
Based on market demand during the summer, the hours of operations may increase in addition to regular business hours. The candidate is required to maintain flexible work hours for booking sales appointments and administering other sales duties.
