New Objects Of Desire (nood) offers the opportunity to work with an established and growing company based in Vancouver, BC. Stores opened in 2008 in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Victoria, and our newest store opening this year in Langley BC, with further planned expansion across Canada throughout 2009.
NOOD is a new retail concept store that brings together a diverse range, and selection of quality furniture, home décor, house wares, and lifestyle products. Our new 2009 product line-up in stores is exciting.
We are currently seeking energetic Retail Sales career oriented individuals who are customer-oriented team players with superior communication and strong retail SALES SKILLS to join our team. We have the following position(s) available at our Burnaby location.

PT (Part Time) SALES ASSOCIATES- nood Burnaby, BC Location ( File # RSA102)
The successful candidates will be responsible for: – Achieving personal retail sales goals – Ensuring high levels of customer service and support – Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures – Ensure high level of store maintenance – Completing tasks assigned by supervisor and store manager – Maintain high level of product knowledge
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Retail SALES and/or Service, experience in a fast-pace environment – Strong work ethic, positive attitude, energetic approach & attention to detail – Ability to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekends & during special events and holidays. – Lead by example – Excellent SELLING Skills – Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written & verbal communication skills – Motivated, creative and a team player – Computer literate – Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs. – Second language skills are an asset – You will bring energy, salesmenship, along with a passion for design, and home decor.
