Polygon New Home Store - Sales Representative (Richmond, BC)

The sales representative at the Polygon New Home Store is a key link between home-purchasing prospects and new Polygon communities across the Lower Mainland. The sales representative works strategically to help customers understand our product offerings and find a new Polygon home that is right for them. Typical work activities include:
• Making presentations to prospects in a retail environment, promoting multiple communities at once
• Building positive working relationships with immigration consultants and real estate agents
• Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to new prospects
• Keeping detailed records of all contacts and reaching (or exceeding) annual sales targets
• Organizing periodic special events
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in person-to-person sales
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese a must to apply
• Comfortable with making cold calls
• The energy and desire to thrive as part of a professional sales group with a high level of activity
• Experience in the real estate industry a definite asset
• Familiar with Lasso or a similar CRM system an asset
• Ability to work independently and with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines and produce results
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays
