Pattison Outdoor has an immediate opening for an experienced Account Executive representing Canada’s largest Out-of-Home advertising company, serving over 70 markets from coast to coast.
POSITION: Account Executive, Territory – Vancouver to Chilliwack
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
COMPANY: Pattison Outdoor
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
POSTING PERIOD: June 3rd to June 12th, 2009
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development of new business accounts and handling client leads.
• Work with Sales Manager on account development with existing accounts.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure optimal client service.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven exceptional sales results in the media industry.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
• Minimum 2 years media sales experience required.
• Able to work independently, yet a strong team player.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing and sales experience, a requirement.
• Above average work ethic, highly enthusiastic and energetic disposition.
• Ability to learn and implement newly acquired skills quickly.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) a minimum.
• Willingness to take on the challenge of developing a strong new customer base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Conceptual, creative thinker and problem solver.
• Must enjoy fast paced work environment that is based on team and individual effort.
• A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
