With the rapid growth of YXX we have many exciting projects upcoming and also recently completed a $4.3 million runway extension, renovations to the international terminal building and a new loading bridge.
In this newly created position, you will be responsible for ensuring airport operations documentation conforms to regulatory compliance. We will count on you to monitor and recommend changes to processes and assist with the planning, coordinating and implementation of procedures to ensure the safety and security of the airport.
As the successful candidate you must have: – Airport Operations (or similar discipline) diploma – Three years experience in an airport regulatory position – Knowledge of TP312 (Transport Canada guidelines) – A valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5) – Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (or ability to obtain)
The hourly rate of pay for this union position is from $24.92 to $29.32 per hour. In addition, the City of Abbotsford offers a comprehensive benefits package.
