We have an opening for an experienced ASP.NET (C#) Software Engineer to join the company’s Development team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Software Development Manager and will be working on an ASP.NET application for real estate users. The focus of this position will be on the client-side of the application and will require extensive skills in JavaScript and AJAX-style programming.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develops code for client-side and server-side application components that is reusable and easy to maintain and troubleshoot
• Eliminates errors in code by designing and performing unit-tests
• Participates in integration/testing, problem troubleshooting and resolution
• Participates in estimating project timelines and resources
• Participates in review of peers’ work product, designs and code
• Identifies technical, schedule, and other project risk
• Communicates with Quality Assurance team members to ensure issues get resolved quickly and efficiently
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering
• 5 years of related experience as a Software Developer in a Windows environment, developing web-based products
• 3+ years of C# programming
• Must have extensive experience with JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, AJAX
• Prefer experience with jQuery
• Experience with OOP and OOAD
• Flexible team player with multitasking ability
• Able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge
• Strong analytic skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain focus on the quality of code
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
