Web Application Developer (Yaletown, Vancouver)

Bayleaf Software is growing again and has an immediate opening for a full time programmer with ColdFusion experience, working in a Windows and Linux environment.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing dynamic web applications in multiple programming languages. As a member of our development team, you will work on a number of highly detailed projects. The ability to work independently and within a team environment, excellent communications skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
“Must have” skills:
• Demonstrated experience developing dynamic web applications in multiple programming languages such as Java, PHP, .NET, or ColdFusion;
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle;
• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
• Understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including a structured approach to coding and documentation;
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under tight deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
“Nice to have” skills:
• Familiarity with source code control systems;
• Familiarity with web-based testing and QA processes and standards.
Education Requirements:
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field;
• Adobe CF Certification is an asset.
