Overview
TP Systems is a creative and agile IT products and services company. Our IT Staffing division brings experienced IT professionals together with BC based hiring organizations on a full-time and contract basis. We are currently seeking an organized and enthusiastic Account Manager to take responsibility for further expanding our client base.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the successful candidate will take responsibility for growing their assigned territory by seeking out opportunities for IT staffing and building strong client relationships through excellent service and account management.
The role will encompass the following duties:
• Telephone and in-person sales calls
• Territory planning and Management
• Attending networking events in assigned territory
• Working closely with the Technical Recruiter to source candidates
• Participation in candidate interviews.
• Client Account Management
• Keep detailed records of client activity in CRM System
• Achieve monthly quota of permanent and contract placements on an ongoing basis.
Skills and Experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and understand the importance of accurate record keeping.
• Must be accustomed to working as part of a team in a sales environment.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Must be customer focused and convey a professional attitude at all times.
Desirable
• Experience working in an IT and/or recruitment environment preferred.
Education and Certifications
• Sales training within the last 2 years is preferred.
• IT certifications advantageous.
