DESKTOP SERVICES MANAGER
As the Desktop Services Manager, you would oversee Desktop and Asset Management support staff and be responsible for managing over 1,400 City desktop computers through their entire life-cycle including planning, procurement, licensing, setup, deployment, break-fix support, patching, and disposal. The Desktop portfolio includes pc’s, monitors, printers, peripherals, and personal productivity software.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Your high level understanding of organizational business systems, industry requirements and technology will ensure that you keep Surrey at the forefront of emerging trends and help achieve the business values and objectives.
You are solution oriented and deliver what you promise. You can manage priorities and be open to collaboration with relevant business units throughout Surrey. You have seasoned people management skills and can communicate complex ideas in a way that fosters consensus and reflects your analytical approach. A degree/diploma in a related field plus at least six years related experience is required. MCSE and ITIL designations would be an asset. This position requires completion of a Criminal Record Check.
